When I first signed up for this class, it was to fill up space in my schedule. When I was finished with the class, I came out knowing how to take proper pictures, and even how to use photoshop correctly. This has probably been one of my favorite classes this trimester, I felt like I could really relax in the class. I'm really glad I've learned these skills... taking pictures with a real camera (not a phone camera) really taught me how to bring elements together in my photos, and now I can teach others how to take great photos. It is also very useful knowing how to use Photoshop, now I can touch up photos or just make fun little projects. This was one of the first pictures taken in the class: And these are the kinds of photos I can take by the end: Here's my first photoshop assignment: And here's one of my last: All that to say, I'm really glad I took this class. It made me a better photographer/editor and I found that this is something I really enjoy doing.

This week, one of our assignments was to make three digital puns in photoshop. Here are my puns: I thought this assignment was really fun, I enjoyed coming up with puns and having my classmates guess what they meant. I also liked how simple it was, and how it wasn't as much about the quantity as it was the quality.
This week, I chose to take pictures of people. The pictures just needed the subject to be a person, showing a bit of their personality. Here are my shots (the quality is kind of weird for some reason, sorry): Shutter Speed - 1/400 Aperture - 5.0 ISO - 1800 These pictures were take at Curtiss park, and the trees looked awesome so I thought that they would be a great background. I personally don't like how I look in the pictures, but I can't really do anything about that...
